What if the library does not own the book or article I want to read?

If the Kares Library does not own an item, we can get it through our interlibrary loan service. Students, faculty, and staff can request items through Interlibrary loan service.
Books are usually delivered to the library within one to two weeks. Be aware that the Kares Library has no control over the actual delivery date provided by the lending library. Additionally, due dates are determined by the lending library.
Articles are delivered as a PDF file to the requestor's email address usually within 1 to 3 business days. For more information and request forms, please see Interlibrary Loan.
