How do I find peer reviewed resources using the Kares Library search box?
Answer
A peer-reviewed journal contains articles that have been reviewed by a group of experts before publication. Peer-reviewed journals are sometimes called scholarly or refereed journals.
To find peer-reviewed articles go to the Search it All box on the Kares Library homepage:
- Enter your search terms
- After your results populate, navigate to the left side of the screen
- You should now see the filter section and a series of checkboxes
- Scroll down until you see the “peer-reviewed” checkbox on the left hand side (under the Content section of the filters)
- Check the "peer reviewed" box and let your results repopulate
